Chromatics
So last night after years of waiting I finally got to see one of my absolute favourites, Chromatics, live and to say it was worth the wait would be a massive understatement. Coming on more like a cross between early Cure and Blonde Redhead than the stripped down dark disco of their singles they were absolutely mind blowing.
Although the whole show was immense special mention has to go to the live rendition of ‘Healer’, the 12″ of which was what got me excited about their latest Johnny Jewel produced incarnation in the first place.
Chromatics play Brighton tonight and Dublin Tomorrow. Speaking of Dublin, we will have a very special announcement about said city very soon..
